This camera cage offers robust protection and enhanced functionality for the Blackmagic Design Pyxis 6K Pro. It features a modular design with various mounting options, including NATO Rail, Arri Rosette, Cold Shoe, and threaded points, allowing for versatile accessory attachment.
The side plate facilitates quick transitions to vertical setups and includes an SSD mounting slot for external recording. It accommodates hard drives between 52mm-60mm wide and less than 12mm thick, providing ample space for accessories while maintaining alignment with the lens's optical center.
Both the top and bottom plates are designed to avoid obstructing the camera's heat dissipation vents, ensuring optimal cooling performance. The top plate is compatible with the Pyxis native top handle and includes a detachable thread adapter for various handle options.
The included Xeno top handle connects via NATO Rail, offering improved handling and multiple mounting options for additional accessories, such as an external monitor. The 15mm LWS baseplate and rods support rod-based accessories like matte boxes or follow focus systems, with a dovetail receiver for further adaptability.
The battery plate mounts securely to the camera, providing power through multiple ports, including P-Tap, Lemo, USB-C, and DC input, ensuring reliable operation during shoots.
