Gitzo expands its camera´s plate portfolio introducing a brand new L-bracket, the lightest of its kind. Gitzo associates its pioneering design and construction quality with Sony´s flagship cameras: Sony α7 and α9.
L-Bracket α – What’s the L-Bracket for?
When changing the frame from landscape to portrait position by using the ball headdrop notch (90° side vertical rotation) the camera is moved dramatically off to one sideand also shifted downwards causing: Losing the compostion and set-up, and lowering of the viewfinder position.
Gitzo L-bracket is made of a single solid machined aluminium piece, machined to minimize weight and become one with the camera. The unique design offers 4 main attachment points for camera strap connection, ensuring a secure coupling with the solid aluminium body and comfortable position studied to minimize camera shaking during transportation. The profile accurately designed to match both Sony α7R III and α9 camera bodies and ensure maximum camera stability.
The upper side of the L-bracket is designed to ensure a full and easy access for cabling the camera, either for video or studio shooting.
