The Safe X100cd document shredder is designed to securely destroy personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It features a separate entry slot for CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs, as well as a paper entry slot that can handle plastic cards. The high-quality cutters, made from special hardened steel, can cope with paper clips and staples, ensuring efficient shredding without the need to remove these items.
This cross-cut shredder can handle up to 10 sheets of DIN A4 paper (80 gsm) at a time, and it includes an automatic start/stop function for ease of use. The reverse function is particularly useful for releasing jammed documents. The shredder comes with a 15-litre paper basket that has a viewing window, and it features LED indicators for "Power" and "Overheat" functions. A safety mechanism prevents operation if the device head is not correctly inserted in the paper basket, providing additional security and peace of mind.
