Samsonite's warranty covers material and manufacturing defects during the time period defined in the warranty certificate. It does not cover damages resulting from normal wear and tear, improper use (e.g., carrying abnormal objects), negligence, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, or transportation damages (caused by airlines, for example).

If there are issues with your Samsonite product, and the problem is due to a material or manufacturing defect, the product will either be repaired or replaced. Such repairs or replacements will be done at Samsonite's expense, including any costs for returning the product to you.
