Wave was designed to simplify live production by combining a number of key technologies into a single product, thereby reducing the amount of equipment required to stream a high quality event.
- 7” Touchscreen, daylight viewable monitor: Monitor your live stream as it happens, even in broad daylight. Reduces the need for an additional screen on the production desk. The perfect compliment to video switchers with or without streaming capabilities (Roland, DataVideo, Blackmagic Design, etc..)
- Interactive operating system: Makes the device incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Allows you to plan / prep multiple events ahead of time and save your configuration for later use.
- Network bonding: Allows you to stream from just about any location by load balancing network bandwidth across multiple connections (Ethernet, WiFi, USB cellular modems, mobile hotspots). Increases stream reliability in venues with poor connectivity.*
- Wave App: The iOS and Android app for Wave allows you to monitor your video and audio in real time, check your stream statistics, and enables phone bonding (contribute your LTE connection to Wave)
- Hot-swappable power: Continuous power with Sony L-series batteries allows you to stream for as long as you need to, whether you’re operating on a desktop or have the Wave attached to your camera.
